Fairy Dust Legal Cocaine

A New growing drug craze is sweeping the UK. The substance called Fairy Dust is supposed to give a high similar to that of cocaine, but at only a fraction of the cost. The substance is made by mixing sugar and washing up liquid, once left overnight to dry it is cut and snorted just like cocaine.

Drug users are being advised not to use Fairy Dust as the affect of this are untested and unknown. Although there have been no reported deaths from the substance as yet government and health officials are warning the risks could be epidemic. The low cost and legal drug comes in different colours that are attracting new and younger drug users causing.

The Government are warning they have to move fast, but policing a chemical that can be made from products bought off the shelf of any supermarket is going to be extremely difficult. Not only are there fears about public heath but it could have severe affects gang related drug crime.
