Defence Secretary Hires Child Gamer

The secretary for defence Phillip Hammond has been in the centre of political backlash after the decision was passed in parliment to bomb Syria but this is minor in comparrison to his latest desision to employ an 11 year champion computer gamer to advise on millitary strategy and tactics.

Mr Hammond spotted James Danielson an 11 year old from barnsley when he made the national paper last month for winning the Call of Duty world gamming championships. After being expelled from his school for repeated truency the youth earns money playing games online but now is looking at a three figure salary for advising the government and the Army on millitary stratagy and tactics. Mr hammond said "the world is changing and we need to change with it if we are to progress to the next level". As well as being on call for advice to the defence secretary himself Master Danielson will be expected to give lessons to high ranking Officers and do web cam seminars for junior commanders. when interviewed Danielson said " first thing want do is get em tall to play COD ont Xbox, so can assess em like" when he was asked how he felt about the importance of his new high profile job and having to work with people much older and more experianced he replied " as long as they don't prefer playstation I'll teach them a thing or two, but I've never played play station cos we've only got one and dads always on it first"
